Among these accomplishments have been the establishment of the Pennsylvania Debt Collection Trade Practice Regulation (1980), amendment of the Pennsylvania Goods and Services Installment Sales Act (1982), the Pennsylvania Bad Check Law of 1987, The Pennsylvania Right of Assignment Law of 1990, and successful passage of the Pennsylvania Fair Credit Uniformity Act.
In Maryland, the committee's efforts regularly result in successful defeat of numerous, anti-business bills that if passed, would have serious impact on the way Maryland agencies operate.
